Tomato:

When it comes to easy food for preserving tomato is the king as it’s very fixable I mean here if you want to preserve it for one week you can do this Or if you want to preserve it for a year or two you can do this

In this section, I will be sharing with you the easiest ways to preserve tomato which I called it the three mints method

Preserve Tomottao In Three Mints

Here is what you going to need

1- One or two tomatoes and cut them into slides

2-half teaspoon of Salt

3-Half teaspoon of Black pepper

4-Crush some Red Chelli

5-Cut some garlic into small pieces

6-Add three teaspoons of white vinegar

Put all the ingredients into one plate and mix them (do not add the tomato now)

after the mix, it fully complained put the tomato slices into it & you are good to go

this method can preserve the tomato for up to one week in the fridge & it will be as delicious as if you just made it

every time.

Want to keep your tomato fresh in the fridge as if you just buy it?

In order to keep your tomato fresh in the fridge Put the tomatoes in a food storage bag, then add to this bag some turmeric, then put the tomatoes in the refrigerator.

Turmeric prevents the formation of white mold on the tomatoes and keeps them fresh.

Cucumber

Cucumber is one of the most popular vegetables that people pickle. But here I will explain to you the easiest way to permeate the cucumber in a few minutes

Ingredients

Cucumber slices, thinly sliced
3 tablespoons regular table salt
sugar spoon
3 cloves minced garlic
3 cups of tap water

Method

Put the water in a food feeding box (it should have a lid)
put salt
Mix the water with salt well
put option
put sugar
then garlic
Close the box and put it in the fridge for 3 hours

ِAfter three hours you can use it.

Celery

I personally like celery very much, but the problem with celery is that it wilts quickly.

And here I will share with you the best method that I personally use to keep celery ripe for more than 4 days
It is a very easy way to cut the celery leaves and cut them into thin slices.

Bring a jar with a lid, put the celery, then put water inside the jar until the water is covered, the contents of the jar, close the jar well, and put it in the refrigerator.

And you can use celery now anywhere, whether at work or on a trip with the family

Zucchini

Zucchini is one of the fastest vegetables that is easily damaged, but on the contrary, there are several methods that you can use to keep zucchini from rotting or spoiling.

As we agreed, I will share with you here only the easy ways that do not require any effort from you

All you need is zucchini, water, ice, and food storage bags.

Method:

Cut the zucchini into small cubes.
Boil the zucchini in water for three or four minutes.
Get ice cubes and put them in a big box.
Drain the zucchini from the hot water and place it directly in the ice.
Wait until the snow melts and the zucchini are cold.
Drain the zucchini well from the water.
Put the zucchini in food storage bags and then put them in the freezer.

In this way, you can save zucchini for more than a year, but I personally prefer that the preservation period of zucchini does not exceed 4 months so that its taste does not change.

Broccoli

We all know that broccoli spoils very quickly even if it is in the refrigerator, so I will share with you my favorite method so that broccoli does not spoil quickly.

All you have to do is to choose the freshest broccoli from the vegetable store, then cut the bottom base of it, then put it in the cup with water, and then put it in the refrigerator.

This easy method will preserve the broccoli for more than 10 days.

Onion

Onions are one of the vegetables that we use in most dishes, so if you are a fan of storing onions, I will be happy to tell you my secret way to preserve onions for very long periods.

Personally, I go to buy onions once every 3 months, so I will tell you the best ways to keep onions from spoiling or rotting.

All you have to do is choose the freshest onion, then bring a nylon cloth, then put the onion inside and store it outside the refrigerator.

Pickling Onion

Pickling Onion is one of the easest food that can preserve,  its only five Mints preparations & it’s very delicious I use it almost every day.

The pickling Growing Ingredients are

(Half Cup of Apple cider vinegar, One cup of water, two teaspoons of Salt, a Teaspoon of sugar, add some whole peppercorns and boiled water )

Mix all together & you are good to go.

Add the onion slices (the thinner the better )

Now put the onion on a bowl & then add the boiled water on the top of it leave it for two minutes then strain the water out

Now But them into a Jar & add the pickling growing on top of it & cover it, then put it in the fridge for about two hours

Carrots

Preserving Carrots is very easy as the carrots can stay for more than three months in the fridge with no issues.

however, the best advice I need to share with you is to keep the carrots in the closed plastic bag inside the fridge.

The reason for this is that the carrot can produce ethylene gas that is responsible to grow fruits and vegetables which

will affect other vegetables in your fridge and make them spoil fast.

Lemon

Lemon is one of the easiest foods to keep at home.

All you have to do is to cut the lemon into four parts, but without cutting it completely, then put the salt inside the lemon, put it in a jar, and then leave it for 3 months.

And then you can have the best-pickled lemons

The tip here: try not to have any air bubbles inside the jar

Green Beans

Green beans are very important for any mother, especially a mother who has many children and wants to provide healthy food,

But the problem is that it takes some time to prepare it from pruning and cutting.

so most mothers rely on ready-made frozen green beans.

but today I will be sharing with you my special method of freezing green beans that I tried many times and worked perfectly.

I do not make what is called blanching, but on the contrary, I prepare the beans, then put them in freezer bags, and

when I use them again, they are very good.

Shelled Peas

Shelled Peas are also an easy food to preserve however it takes some time to shell the peas.

the method of preserving

The Blanching  Just boiled the peas and when they come up to the service take them out then put them into the ice

When the ice melted & become cold water take them out & put them on a dry towel to drain (leave it for one hour)

Now: Put them into a freezer bag & you are good to go

A quick tip: make sure to remove any air inside the bag ( just press it well and seal the freezer bag)

Rosemary

Rosemary is one of the herbs that gives a wonderful taste for eating, but the problem is that the rosemary wilts very quickly and after a lot of research on the best ways to preserve rosemary and many questions,

I found the best way to preserve rosemary for more than a year and it still gives the same wonderful

taste.

Method: Bring a box for making ice cubes, put in each cube some rosemary leaves, dip them in olive oil, and then put them in the freezer. After they freeze, put the cubes in a food storage bag.

Now, whenever you want to use rosemary, take a cube and cook with it and you will be surprised just like me that the taste is still great.

Chilli Garlic Sauce

Hot garlic sauce is a very delicious sauce that I use in many meals such as making pickled eggs and cooking some types of meat and also sometimes I use it as an appetizer for food in case there is no type of pickle

(the picture shown is a picture after I made it)

The advantage of this sauce is that it is very tasty and can be preserved for more than a year and also helps me very much when I am in a hurry to prepare food.

Chili Garlic Sauce Ingredients:

1 pound red & green chili
10 crushed garlic cloves
1 eating spoon of salt
1 tablespoon of hot sauce
1 teaspoon of cumin

Mix all the ingredients and grind them well, then put them in a food storage bag, preferably small bags.

If you want to use them as an appetizer, add some tomato sauce to them

In the following picture, I will share with you the spicy garlic sauce when used with pickled eggplant.

Note: If you want to use it for Pickling eggplant you need to add lemon sauce and vinegar
