How to prepare the Chicken Soap For Canning?

1-Place it in the refrigerator for one day.

In order to make the correct packaging for chicken soup, you must bring it to canning, and this is through Putting it in the refrigerator for 24 hours first.

The goal here in placing it in the refrigerator is to give the soup time to make the top layer of fat.

After the formation of the fat layer, you have the freedom to choose whether to keep the fat layer or remove it.

Personally, if I have a large amount of chicken soup, I divide it in half.

In the first half, keep the fat for meals that need a creamy soup.

And the second half I remove the fat in order to use it in meals that do not need a lot of fat.

2-Make The Chicken Soap Hot.

After determining the amount of fat you want in the chicken soup, you must heat the chicken soup before placing it in the jar.

The goal of heating is to kill any bacteria and create a healthy environment for the canning process.

3-Put the soup in the jar

The last step in preparing chicken soup for canning is to put it in the jar.

This step may seem very easy, but there are some important tips that you must take into account in order to ensure good packaging for chicken soup.

  •  Jars should be completely clean and dry
  •  The jars should be of a normal temperature, not even cold or hot, so as not to break while placing the hot chicken soup in them.
  • Always make sure that you do not fill the jar completely, and leave a distance of a finger at the end of the jar
  • After putting the soup in the jar, make sure to clean the rims of the jar to ensure good sealing (this can be done using a towel moistened with clean water) Run your finger around the rim of the jar to make sure there are no food residues and to make sure it is dry.
  •  Put the flat lids on the jar and then put the screen bands
